This bit is a middle ground between the MB04 Low port comfort snaffle, with its curved mouthpiece with low ported centre barrel, (the port is 3/4" high) And the MB32 Mullen Barrel

So this bit suits horses that need extra tongue room / freedom. And that dislike pressure points and prefer a solid mouthpiece

It won't pinch the bars or tongue, there is no palate pressure.

Will offer tongue relief when the horses head is positioned correctly.

This is a good choice of mouthpiece for begining or an intermediate horse.

It has Independant Side Movement. It encourages the horse to relax at the poll.

This cheek style has a more direct signal than Loose Ring. Will not pull through the mouth or pinch.
The Hooks attach to the reins and headpiece and allow bit to work like a leverage bit. When reins are pulled upward and backward, mouthpiece rolls downward and backward into the mouth while pulling downward on the poll.
With this bit you also have the facility to add a curb chain.

This mouthpiece is not dressage legal.
